Without a clear, consistent footprint in place, disputes slow down the game and outcomes feel arbitrary. LITKO's MDF Terrain Footprint Set gives every terrain piece a precise, defined area so the game stays moving and the rulings stay clear.

What's Included

(1) Natural 11.5 x 8in LEFT Half Square Footprint

(1) Natural 11.5 x 8in RIGHT Half Square Footprint

(4) Natural 11.5 x 7in Large Terrain Footprints

(4) Natural 6 x 4in Medium Terrain Footprints

(2) Natural 10 x 2.5in Small Terrain Footprints

(4) Natural 6 x 2in Mini Terrain Footprints

Features

The natural MDF construction provides a fully opaque footprint with high-contrast visibility, making terrain boundaries easy to read at a glance on any mat surface. 1/8th inch thick,

The warm natural wood tone blends naturally with the earthy tones of most battle mats and terrain, keeping the aesthetic cohesive across the whole table.

Laser-cut ruined edges shape the outer profile of each footprint, giving them a thematic look that belongs on the battlefield — no plain rectangles, no graph-paper aesthetic.

Precision laser-cut sizing ensures every footprint matches 11th Edition terrain layout dimensions consistently across all 16 pieces.

The complete 16-piece set covers all five standard footprint shapes from GW's 11th Edition terrain layouts, so everything you need comes in a single purchase.

Use Cases

Clearly defining terrain areas so cover saves, the Hidden rule, and objective control resolve correctly and quickly without measuring or guessing.

Eliminating disputes about whether a model is inside a terrain area during matched-play games.

Planning battlefield layouts before placing heavy scenery, helping players find the ideal positioning for each terrain piece.

Keeping multiple gaming tables consistent for club nights and hobby events where every table needs to match.

Replacing improvised terrain markers with a purpose-built set scaled to all five standard 11th Edition footprint shapes.

See all our products compatible with Warhammer 40,000.

Warhammer 40,000 is a trademark of Games Workshop.
